About Me
Hello, and thanks for visiting my website. My name is Michael and I'm a New York City born, raised and based graphic designer.
For as long as I can remember I have always been interested in making art and creating things. As a child I would create my own characters and stories mostly superheroes and robots,
I also was enamored with pop-up books. As a tween I started reading choose your own adventure books and developed an appreciation for storytelling. When I was a teen I discovered comic books
and feel in love with the cohesive merging of art, lettering, layout and storytelling. I didn't realize it then but the seeds of my future career path had been planted.
As an adult I knew I wanted a career that would allow me to take that creativity I had as a child and combine it with my love of story telling. In 2005 I was given the opportunity to go
to school to study graphic design and I believe I have found my calling.
In 2010 I graduated from New York City College of Technology with a Bachelor's degree in Communication Design and an Associates in Advertising. I try to draw, doodle or sketch at least once a day. When it comes to my work I'm never satisfied and always looking to improve professionally and personally. I'm looking for new opportunities in 2018 and beyond. I'm available for full-time and freelance work.
